I could see somebody helping you build a house, under certain conditions. They cannot bring any materials (nails, planks, etc). Instead you'd have the ability to make a storage area in your workshop. It might require 60 construction, 10 mahogany logs and 1 magical rock. It can hold any sort of supply for construction around 100 of each (500 for claws ). You would not be able to withdraw from this item, only deposit right into it.
When players withdraw, instead of the things they get a magic tablet/stone/certificate which somehow counts to get that amount of boards, claws, magic stone, bagged plants, etc.. It disappears when leaving the home by any way, cannot be traded along with the actual items remain in the magical storage. No expertise is gained from using this (or even perhaps a fraction, to make it somewhat worthwhile). Essentially, this is the only way for the individual helping you construct to obtain supplies. They would lose no cash, and get little or no experience. They could not put in rooms, or eliminate items only you. All they could do is construct using the magic storage.
